A personal branding session is a great way to create a ton of curated content for your business. Often times, my clients are excited to update their LinkedIn profile photo. However...
The truth is, personal branding sessions are SO much more than just an updated profile photo. Here are all my favorite ways to use your own personal branding photography to really utilize all the images you receive.
1. SOCIAL PROFILE PHOTOS
I know this is the first place you run when you have great new photos of yourself, like duh! It’s a great time to freshen up your online profile.
2. WEBSITE HOMEPAGE
How do you make a great welcoming impression on your website? Show your face! Welcome visitors to your site with an image of you to make them feel connected and comfortable.
3. CAMPAIGN/MARKETING LANDING PAGES
You can also use branding photography on individual landing pages, like if you have a landing page specifically for people to sign up for your email newsletter, or to opt in to a free training.
4. BLOG POSTS
This one is a no-brainer! Add value to your clients and utilize your library of pretty imagery. Don't be shy, SHOW IT OFF!
5. BLOG GRAPHICS
Putting together an infographic for a blog post? Personal branding imagery makes the perfect backdrop.
6. PINTEREST GRAPHICS
If you’re not using Pinterest yet, start now! Great imagery gets clicks, and that means more people on your website.
7. SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS
Another "like duh!!" moment. Chances are, if you’ve done a personal branding session, a big reason was so you would have social media content. Great thinking! Who knew it could be that easy and you have sooooo many uses for those images.
8. FACEBOOK/TWITTER HEADER
No need to use standard stock photography when you have your own personal branding photography. These will set you apart from your competition!
9. VIDEO GRAPHICS
If you create videos for IGTV or YouTube, you can easily use a program like Canva to turn your branding images into beautiful graphics.
10. EMAIL MARKETING
Show your face, a flat lay, some details, behind the scenes – whatever! Connect with the masses via email marketing.
11. BUSINESS CARDS
Including images on your business cards can immediately personalize them––especially if it’s a picture of you! I had reservations for myself, however, I have received so many compliments because they see who the business is.
12. NETWORKING AND SPEAKING EVENTS
You definitely want to be looking your best if you’re showing up somewhere as an expert.
13. MARKETING MATERIALS
If you need to print anything for a vendor fair, or to show potential clients, branding photography will come in super clutch.
14. PRICING GUIDES
Pricing guides are a great time to introduce yourself to a potential client as they determine who to hire. Show a photo of yourself from your branding session, and include some lifestyle or behind-the-scenes images for good measure.
